On June 8, 2005 the Overton Classroom for Library Instruction was officially dedicated.
In attendance were Ms. Nell Overton - class of 1943 - and Dr. Caroline Whitson, among others.

Located on the 1st floor (basement - Room 120), the Overton Classroom
for Library Instruction provides students and faculty with the latest instructional technology. The
classroom is designed for course-specific instruction and is equipped with a sophisticated information
delivery system able to accommodate diverse learning styles. Faculty and staff are welcome (and encouraged!)
to request library instruction sessions for their classes. Click
